Guestbook for Lee Douglas Hunt Showing 1 - 7 of 7 entries.

Ernestine, I know you remember what Jimmy, my husband, thought of Lee. I can just imagine what must be going on in heaven with those 2 there. Jimmy has been gone 9 years this month and I still miss him. I think so often of the many times he talked about Lee. I will keep you in my prayers and remember those good times.

Daddy was the most special person in my life, and was a constant in a world of upheaval and discord. He had wit, cleverness, exactness, intelligence, talent, and a wry sense of humor that made everyone laugh. I will miss him more than I can imagine. Love you, Daddy.

He was a very special man and he will be greatly missed. He always made me smile. My condolences to the family in this time of sorrow.

I will remember my grandfather as very intelligent and not one to put up with a lot of nonsense. He had a unique way of getting his point across with sarcasm tempered with humor. I will remember him as a graceful man. He gave me wonderful memories to remember him by of taking us out on his boat, or on the back of his motorcycle, or just making us laugh. I will miss you Grandpa. I know I will see you again.

I met him in December 1969, he became my father-in-law in March 1971 and I can not think of anyone who would have, or could have been a better father-in-law. I know that his children, his grandchildren, his great grandchildren, and Ernestine will miss his wit, sarcasm, humor, and his spirit for many years to come. I know that I will, for he was a very special person in the lives of many people. I know that he will be waiting for everyone when it is our turn to travel across the river to the other side.

May the Hunt family find comfort in knowing that God is "near to those that are broken at heart; and those who are crushed in spirit he saves." (Psalm 34;18) He has promised to soon "swallow up death forever...and wipe the tears from all faces." (Isaiah 25;8) Take care,
