Guestbook for Rodney Webster Moore Showing 1 - 19 of 19 entries.

Rodney and I were in the toy industry together for quite a few years. He worked for me in the 70's while at Lesney Products where upon I introduced him to metal detecting. We use to spend quite a few work days and otherwise detecting together (and fishing). We stayed in contact on and off after I left Lesney, but while leaving VA to live in Nashville, TN in 1993, I decided to call Rodney while passing through Oak Ridge. His number had been disconnected. I tried on and off calling every Rodney Moore I could find in TN and VA, but could not locate him. I kept trying up until today. Somehow, I found his obituary 5 years after his passing.

I could write a documentary about what a great person Rodney was and how much all of us in the toy industry appreciated him. Today, I wrote and advised all of Rodney's old friends from the toy industry advising them of Rodney's passing. We will miss him.

I am so sorry to hear about Rodney. I had lost track of him. He was a great friend back in the 70's. We used to go metal detecting together. Shane, I am the one that gave you that rowing medal when you were a kid. May God bless all of you. Rodney was a very special person. My email address is danglangley@aol.com if you would like to contact me.

We were saddened to hear about your terrible loss. Rodney will be truly missed by all of us at Resp-I-Care. We will miss his opinions and feedback that he was always so gracious to help us with in search of improving our services to patients. Rodney has left me with the lasting impression that he lived his life to help others. May the family find peace and love in the memories you cherish.
