Hazel G. McLaughlin, age 80, of Oak Ridge, died Thursday, June 21, 2012, at the Golden Living Center in Clinton, TN.
She was born April 21, 1932, in Julian, PA., the daughter of John Henry and Ruth Gill.
Mrs. McLaughlin was a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Oak Ridge and the Elk's Lodge #1684.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, John F. McLaughlin.
Hazel is survived by her brother, William "Ben" Gill of Bellefonte, PA; daughter, Denise (Jim) Davis of Clinton; son, Andy (Lisa) McLaughlin of Oak Ridge; grandchildren, Jessica (Jay) Brock of Oak Ridge, Jimmy (Telisha) Davis of Clinton, Jaimee (Tyler) Donoghue of Knoxville, Jill McLaughlin of Knoxville, Jake McLaughlin of Oak Ridge and great-grandsons, Aiden Davis and Jayson Brock.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 27 at 1pm at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church followed by a visitation. A graveside service will follow at 3pm at Oak Ridge Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Oak Ridge, the Elk's Lodge #1684 of Oak Ridge or a charity of the donor's choice.
